Vulci Park

The Vulci Park extends at just a short distance from the Vulci Spa. An archaeological and naturalistic park of about 120 hectares where you can visit the remains of the ancient Etruscan city of Vulci, destroyed in 280 BC by the Romans.

Of the Etruscan city there are still the remains of numerous walls, the temple, the sanctuary, the tombs of the necropolis and the relics exhibited in the National Archaeological Museum, all surrounded by unspoiled nature: the volcanic rock canyon carved by the waters of the Fiora, the river, and the grazing cows and horses.

Visitors can choose between different marked routes: the short route (2.3 km), the complete route (3.5 km), the nature route (1.5 km), enabling you to visit the archaeological digs of the Etruscan-Roman city and also to see Laghetto del Pellicone, a “compulsory stop” on each route.
